Dr. C. Veillet is a leading figure in astronomical instrumentation, whose career has been defined by pushing the boundaries of high-resolution spectroscopy. His most prominent contribution is the conception and realization of PEPSI (Potsdam Echelle Polarimetric and Spectroscopic Instrument) for the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT).
