Boris Schmidt is a prominent cardiac electrophysiologist whose research has significantly advanced the understanding and practice of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF). His work has focused primarily on robotic navigation systems, pulmonary vein isolation (PVI), and the comparative effectiveness of manual versus robotic ablation techniques.
