About
Axel Bex is a leading urologic oncologist whose research has fundamentally shaped the management of kidney and prostate cancers. His work centers on optimizing surgical precision and personalizing treatment, particularly through the advancement of robotic-assisted techniques and nephron-sparing strategies. Bex’s seminal contribution is his authorship of the ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines for renal cell carcinoma, a globally cited framework with over 500 references that standardizes diagnosis and treatment.
