Adam Oleksy is a robotics researcher specializing in human-robot interaction, social robotics, and affective computing. His work centers on designing robotic platforms capable of expressing emotions to facilitate more natural communication between humans and machines. Oleksy’s most influential contribution is the development of EMYS (Emotive Head of a Social Robot), a robotic head engineered to convey a range of emotions through limited facial features.
