Abstract
ABSTRACT: BERRY III is a simulator for autonomous robots and artificial creatures. This report describes the various elements of the simulated environment and the implementation of the physical part of the simulator. The body, the sensor and motor systems of the simulated creatures are described in detail together with the algorithms used to model interaction between objects. These algorithms include calculation of smell diffusion, tactile and visual input, movement of the creature and collision detection. 1.
