Abstract
Abstract: Laparoscopic gastric surgery has been popular in Asia since 1991. Laparoscopic gastrectomies are widely performed in Korea and Japan because of high incidence of early gastric cancer. Short‐term and long‐term outcomes after laparoscopic surgery for gastric cancer were actively reported, but waiting for multicenter randomized controlled trial. Education including domestic training workshop and international collaboration promise to progress advanced laparoscopic gastric surgery with robot and augmented reality surgery.
