Abstract
Proposed and analyzed in this report is a Video Audience Simulation Technique (VAST). Related to the new technology of Video Robotics, this electronic instructional aid is used to simulate audiences for public speakers. Pedagogical benefits of VAST include realistic speech rehearsal, instructor control of audience feedback to facilitate learning, and portrayal of specialized audiences which are unavailable in normal instructional settings.
