Abstract
Surgical resection of a cervico-superior mediastinal tumour is challenging. We present 2 cases of robotic tumour resection. Because the hybrid robotic or robotic portal approach has several advantages over open thoracotomy or the conventional thoracoscopic approach, these approaches are options for cervico-superior mediastinal resection, allowing us to avoid a median sternotomy or transmanubrial approach.
