Abstract

Applies pedagogical ideas of teaching curricula by using strategies of themes and breadth-first coverage, together with the technology of intelligent agents (e.g. mobile autonomous robots), to a system of courses in computer science (artificial intelligence) and information systems (systems engineering). The project brings the issues and constraints of real-time systems, especially the programming component, to students in computer science and information systems curricula. This project's background started in June 1997 and continued during the first part of the 1997-1998 academic year. The actual project work started in January 1998 and is still continuing.
