Students Learn Engineering Through Robotics Competition

Abstract

Over the past two decades we have tried various training modalities to attract students to engineering/robotics. Robotics covers a multitude of topics. That’s why robotics training is not easy. This paper presents how we have tried through competitions to teach robotics to our students. It also presents activities implemented to motivate students and attract high school students to engineering/robotics. The opinions of high school students who participated in robotics competitions will also be presented in the paper.
