Abstract

Nowadays, population is aging rapidly, and China has become the country with the largest number of elderly people in the world. So the problem of elder care is getting worse. With the rapid development of robotic, artificial intelligence and internet technology, the need to develop robots with health detection and intelligent escort functions is increasingly urgent. The system of this study is developed by combining Raspberry PI with Arduino, and based on the Kernel Correlation Filter (KCF) tracking algorithm. The system integrates voice chat, health detection and remote video technology, which contains the functions of dynamic target real-time follow, abnormal condition call and chat escort. A complete set of intelligent escort robot system to provide security for the elderly is been built in this study.
