Abstract
This research paper attempts to introduce an autonomous surveillance mobile robot that operates when a fall by an older adult is detected. Then, it reports to caretakers. The robot will work autonomously once a fall is detected by Convolutional Neural Networks and will normally stand in its base station. Once a fall is detected using wireless communication, the robot will start its operation using a two fixed path. When the patient is detected on the ground, the robot is to inform the hospital; if not, returns to the station. Throughout this research, the literature review explains how the vast increase in the elderly population worldwide has driven to such a development in the robotics field and focus on the extensive benefits this robot can provide to detect the falls of the elders to help prevent its happening.
