Abstract

Medical robots and computer-assisted therapy both play a crucial role in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and mechatronics. In fact, ICT technology has made a significant impact on the healthcare industry during the past three decades by introducing new methods for maintaining a patient's therapy. As surgical navigation has been adopted, particularly in minimally invasive surgery, medical robotics is a development of exam and professional robots as well as other technologies. The majority of existing and future uses and applications of robotics in healthcare are briefly summarized in this article.
