Abstract

This paper concerns the development of radiation hardened electronics for ITER/NET (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor / Next European Torus) produced by Spar Aerospace Ltd. for CFFTP (Canadian Fusion Fuels Technology Project). It describes the development and radiation proving of circuitry required to eventually build a device for multiplexing control and diagnostic signals, initially for ITER/NET. Further applications for radiation hardened electronics are seen as being in data acquisition and robotic telemetry and control for both electrical and robotic systems employed in radioactive environments. 4 refs., 5 figs.
