Abstract
This article explores the implementation of new technologies for the cleaning and neutralization of radiological and chemical contaminants within military environments. Given the unique challenges posed by such pollutants in armed forces, traditional decontamination methods often fall short in efficiency, safety, and environmental impact. The study examines innovative approaches including nanotechnology, bioremediation using genetically modified microorganisms, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic processes, automated robotic systems, and advanced chemical reagents and sorbents. Practical examples of these technologies’ application in military contexts are discussed, highlighting their advantages in enhancing operational safety, reducing personnel exposure, and minimizing ecological damage. The article also addresses the challenges faced during adoption, such as technical complexity, cost, and regulatory compliance. Overall, the research emphasizes the critical role of emerging technologies in strengthening ecological safety systems in the armed forces and provides recommendations for their effective integration and future development.
