Shooting algorithm in robot soccer

Abstract

To improve the success rate of soccer robot shooting a goal, the concept of shooting area is intro- duced by analyzing shortcomings of basic shooting algorithm. By computing shooting area and shooting angle, a modified shooting algorithm is proposed. Petri nets model of shooting is presented and the results of experi- ment show this method can optimize the path of a soccer robot, improve success rate of a soccer robot shooting a goal.
