Abstract
The machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in healthcare commerce are expected to rise from $6.7 billion in 2021 to $169.8 billion by 2030. There is a rising opportunity for AI-based technologies to assist in the care of the elderly. The focus is to develop AI systems that are human-aware, especially in the AI in the healthcare industry. The COVID-19, which has put pressure on the global health care system, has made it imperative for medical practitioners, payers, and pharmaceutical corporations to implement AI technology. Using AI in drug development, pathology, medical imaging, mental health, support precision, and robots in medicine is likely to be an important part of the healthcare system in the years following the onset of COVID-19. This chapter has also analyzed the price movements of the top five companies involved in ML and AI listed on the New York Stock Exchange: Intel, Philips, Microsoft, IBM, and Siemens Healthineers.
