Robot Will be a Hot Spot of Technological Development in the Twenty First Century

Abstract

Since the first robot of the world was born in the beginning of the sixth decade of 20 th century, the robotic technique has been developed rapidly. There are two distinguishing features of the trend in robotic technique development: one is in the continuous extension of robotic application areas and the another is in the uninterrupted improvement of robotic performences.The progresses of robotic techniques will exert a tremendous influence upon the development of science and technology.
