Abstract

Due to the rising demand for flowers, floriculture has emerged as one of the key agricultural commercial trades. India's floriculture business is thought to have strong development potential. The rose is a crucial floriculture product in the global cut flower market, and flower picking is challenging at night. Humans are involved in the process of growing flowers, so they encounter many challenges. For example, rose thorns frequently irritate their hands, their clothing becomes thorny, they are unable to pick flowers in the dark, and they must maintain a bending posture while facing the ground to harvest flowers, which causes them to suffer from excruciating pain in their backbone, leg, thigh, and feet, among other problems. An automated robotic system, controlled by a PIC controller, is suggested as part of this study project to pick the flowers to lessen such issues. The flower is recognized by a robotic system's night vision camera, and then the Raspberry Pi processes the recognized blossom based on its color and pattern in preparation for harvesting. The newly created FlowerBot will speed up the procedure and boost output by putting in more hours.
