Abstract
The purpose of this study to assist educators and learners in addressing challenges andenhancing their teaching and learning outcomes is presented by technological advancements suchas artificial intelligence (AI). Providing a thorough overview of AI in mathematics education forstudents at the second preparation year in Egyptian official language schools is the aim of thisreview, which aims to contribute to the discussion. Utilizing well-established and reliableguidelines, a systematic literature review (SLR) was carried out. Our search terms includedMicrosoft Math Solver (MMS), Math is Fun (MIF), Photomath, MathGPTPro and Mathway. Asper the SLR findings, robots, systems, tools, teachable agents, autonomous agents, and a holisticapproach were the methods employed by AI in mathematics education for the samples underinvestigation. Then, it becomes evident that the majority of the studies that were gathered wereconducted in the USA and Mexico. According to the analysis, quantitative research methods wereemployed in the majority of the reviewed studies. The themes for artificial intelligence (AI) inmathematics education were divided into categories such as benefits and drawbacks, conceptualcomprehension, factors, role, idea suggestion, strategies, and effectiveness.
