Learning control and its place in automation

Abstract

The paper discusses for learning control the background, structures, basic elements, properties and some applications in automation tasks. It is based mainly on experiences built up during the last 10 years at the Control Systems Theory and Robotics Department of the Institute of Control Engineering at the Technical University Darmstadt.
