Abstract
Some typical applications of artificial emotion are briefly summarized. A control architecture based on artificial emotion for anthropomorphic robot is proposed and demonstrated by simulation. Emotion based architecture has hybrid layered characteristics and the emotion states govern whole information process of robots. This control architecture not only realizes personality of the robot but enhances learning and adaptive capacity of robots in dynamic environment as well.
