Abstract

Defines the term and specifies a variety of qualities that are important during the object design phase. A digital object contains a set of models, and is meant to serve as a reusable entity to be used on the World Wide Web or over the Internet. An example using a two-link robot arm is presented. We have found the digital object design methodology to provide an information schema to describe where to locate information about the object, for simulation of dynamic models as well as the execution of other model types.
