Abstract
From the Publisher: This is a textbook about automation. It examines the components that can be used to build automated systems. Actuators and senors are essential components, of course, and this text overviews sensors and actuators. This text also introduces the reader to computerized controllers as used in automated manufacturing. Some examples of complete automates systems are discussed.
