The research of the automatic washing-brushing robot of 500 kV DC insulator string

Abstract

This paper illustrates the research and exploitation of a kind of live line washing-brushing robot which is used to clean the polluted insulators of a 500 kV DC transmission line automatically. It explains the design principle and characteristics of the robot.
