Overview
Adv3D is a framework that generates safety-critical 3D objects through closed-loop simulation to evaluate autonomous vehicle performance. It modifies actor shapes in real-world scenarios, runs LiDAR simulation and full autonomy stack in closed-loop, and uses black-box optimization to find challenging shapes that degrade perception, prediction, and planning.
