Motion

Overview

Motion is a flexible drive system from SIGMATEK with high dynamics. It integrates drives, AC drives, motors, gears, motor output stages, and software for precise real-time motion sequences. The modular system allows scaling to any number of axes using various drive amplifiers (DIAS Drive 300, 1000, 100, 2000) and supports servo motors, planetary gears, and stepper motor end stages. The VARAN real-time Ethernet bus enables cycle times as low as 62.5 µs. The LASAL engineering suite provides object-oriented design and a MOTION library for drive tasks.
