Overview
The 'Irregular Laser' (Igyō Laser) from Japan Unix offers selectable laser spot shapes—donut, oval, square, ring, oval ring, and twin—to match component and land patterns. Patented oval ring shape prevents board burning. Twin spot enables simultaneous two-point irradiation. Laser soldering uses surface heating, different from soldering iron heat conduction.
