This report is written for people who buy, build, invest in, or write about industrial software and robotics. Aletiq is not a robotics company. It is a French cloud PLM vendor, and the dossier assembled for this report contains no evidence of physical autonomy, teleoperation, or robot control of any kind. We say that at the top because a reader arriving from a robotics publication may reasonably expect otherwise, and because the single most important analytical act in this report is refusing to inflate a software platform into something it is not.
Every substantive assertion below carries one of four labels. Where the dossier is silent, we say so rather than filling the gap with plausible-sounding narrative.

Two structural cautions apply throughout. First, the dossier's source mix is skewed: five commerce/aggregator listings, thirteen news items, six videos, six community posts, and zero official primary documents beyond Aletiq's own marketing site. Vendor-controlled material dominates. Second, the dossier contains a number of items that have nothing to do with Aletiq at all, including robotics research preprints 19202122 and consumer teardown videos for a tufting gun, a laptop, a digital notebook, and a tube amplifier 24252627. Three findings deserve to lead.
First, the commercial signal is real but unquantified. Named customers and a published price point are meaningful. The distinction matters because the dossier records an apparent conflict between a "founded 2019" datum and a "launched 2021" datum, and the reconciliation is straightforward: the company existed for roughly two years before its platform became commercially available. This is a normal pattern for enterprise software, where a founding team spends its first eighteen to thirty months building before it sells. It is not a contradiction, and readers should not treat it as one.
The founding context is the well-documented dysfunction of traditional PLM. Two details in the dossier hint at the company's engineering culture and its evolution. The first is a Reddit hiring post from the Haskell community, advertising a senior software engineer role in Paris 29. The vertical pages are worth reading as a statement of commercial intent. Aerospace and defence 10 and medical devices 11 are the two most compliance-burdened verticals in discrete manufacturing, and a PLM vendor that can credibly serve them can charge more and churn less than one serving general industrial customers. The security posture is the strongest technically verifiable element. ISO 27001 certification is an auditable standard, not a marketing label, and it requires an operating management system for information security rather than a one-time checklist 16. The broader point about the media library is that Aletiq has no visible corpus of demonstration content, conference talks, webinars, or technical walkthroughs in the dossier. The named customers are the strongest commercial evidence in the dossier, and they deserve scrutiny rather than acceptance. LISI is a French aerospace fasteners group. Hutchinson is a French industrial group with aerospace and automotive operations. Safran E&D, Safran Electrical & Power's electronics and defence arm, is a division of one of Europe's largest aerospace primes. 08Markets and Use Cases
Aletiq's addressable market is not robotics. It is the far larger and far less glamorous market for product data management among small and mid-sized discrete manufacturers, a segment that established PLM incumbents have historically served badly or not at all. Understanding where Aletiq actually competes requires separating the market it names from the market it wins.
8.1 The structural gap Aletiq targets
Traditional PLM (Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE, PTC Windchill) was architected for large OEMs with dedicated PLM administrators, multi-year implementation budgets and IT departments capable of sustaining on-premise infrastructure.
