How do I legally import test samples into the US?

For FCC test samples: file FCC Form 740 (import declaration). For commercial customs: use a licensed customs broker, file the entry, pay duties (typically 0-5% on robotics) and HMF/MPF fees. We handle this end-to-end as part of our customs service — typically $500-$1.5K per shipment plus duties.
