PM01

The EngineAI PM01 is a 1.38 m, ~40 kg humanoid robot developed by EngineAI Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen, China), featuring 24 DoF, 300 Nm knee torque, a dual-chip compute suite (Intel N97 + NVIDIA Jetson Orin), and an open-source platform targeting commercial, educational, and research use. It was released for global sale in December 2024 at approximately 88,000 yuan (~$12,000 USD) and has been demonstrated performing balance recovery, dancing, and front-flips using reinforcement and imitation learning. Early 2026 factory logistics trials have been reported, though these come from lower-confidence editorial/community sources rather than verified independent teardowns or rigorous third-party evaluations. The robot performs its locomotion and balance tasks autonomously without a human driving or performing those tasks, qualifying it as Autonomous for its core locomotion/balance task domain.
