Freshwater ecosystems together with biodiversity and human activities face significant dangers due to water pollution which stems mainly from floating plastic objects and organic waste. Current methods for water cleaning that require manual and semi-automated procedures prove ineffective at handling ongoing pollution flows because they are both inefficient and labor-intensive. This work establishes the creation of an Autonomous Lake Cleaning Robot which presents a combined IoT-based approach for real-time waste harvesting and environmental tracking operations. The developed system brings together GPS navigation with ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles and GSM communication backup and conveyor belts for successful waste recovery operations. Real-time tracking and controller operations can be managed and waste levels monitored remotely through an easy-to-use mobile app due to its cloud connectivity features. Trial runs of hardware models combined with experimental evidence prove the system functions reliably for automatic control and object avoidance as well as detecting waste and efficient waste removal operations. The system delivers superior scalability together with minimal upkeep and energy efficient operation and cost-effective performance relative to other available options. Through automated operations the developed Robot establishes an eco-friendly approach for freshwater protection together with sustainable water management solutions.
