AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF ARC WELDING BY ARC SENSOR SYSTEM

摘要

Automatic seam tracking and welding parameter control technology is necessary for the automation and robotization of arc welding. Arc sensor control systems developed for these purposes are described. They are seam tracking systems for MAG and TIG weaving welding, for high speed rotating MAG welding in NGW and horizontal fillet welding processes, and bead height control systems for pulsed-MAG and TIG welding by deposition amount control.
