摘要
Forests are the lungs of the earth because the plants in them can produce oxygen. Forests in Indonesia are also one of the lungs of the earth. The total area of forest fires reported by each region in Indonesia in 2019 was recorded at 1649258 hectares. The forest fire monitoring system is an important part of handling forest fires. One way to directly monitor forest fires is to use a forest fire monitoring robot with a telemetry system. Xbee Pro S3B on-board can communicate with other Xbee module at ground station by receiving data obtained from sensors with faster rate, minimal data loss and high range. In this research, researcher will be find maximum range of system communication, maximum delay, and minimum average for 10 times transfer data from the sensor to the server maximum range of system communication can send the data in the Line of Sight area in about 588 meters, The maximum delay for 10 times transfers data is about 12.805 millisecond, with minimum average for 10 times transfer data in about 8.734 millisecond. Data in the forest area measurement can reach the maximum range of in about 358 meters, and maximum delay for 10 times transfer data is about 12.806 millisecond, with minimum average for 10 times transfer data in about 5.795 millisecond. Data in the building area measurement can reach the maximum range of in about 382 meters and maximum delay for 10 times transfer data is about 12.806 millisecond, with minimum average for 10 times transfer data in about 6077 milliseconds. The biggest error of distance measurement from GPS data compared by Google maps data is 12.2 %
