摘要
Ranging Sensors Are Increasingly Utilized In Automatic Navigation Systems, Smart Home Devices, Robots, And Other Industries Due To The Rapid Advancement Of Automation Technology And The Widespread Adoption Of Intelligent Products. It Is Crucial To Select The Appropriate Ranging Sensor For Various Application Scenarios Due To The Distinct Advantages And Limitations Of Different Sensor Types. In This Paper, Sliding Filter, Mean Value Method, Control Variable Method, And Multi-Sensor Fusion Are Used To Reduce The Measurement Error, And The Performance Of Infrared And Ultrasonic Distance Sensors Under Different Conditions Is Compared. An In-Depth Comparative Analysis Of The System Revealed That The Infrared Sensor’s Performance Is Influenced By Light Intensity, With Stronger Light Resulting In Better Performance. On The Other Hand, The Ultrasonic Sensor’s Performance Is Impacted By Temperature And Humidity, With Higher Temperatures And Lower Humidity Levels Leading To Improved Performance. This Paper Aims To Explore The Effectiveness Of These Two Sensors Under Different Conditions And Multi-Sensor Fusion Technology Through Experimental Research. The Insights Gained From This Study Are Intended To Provide Practical Reference For Engineers And Researchers In Related Fields.
