摘要

Human-centered soft robotics has emerged as a transformative field within biomedical sciences, offering a promising paradigm shift in the design and development of innovative solutions for various healthcare applications. Unlike traditional rigid robotic systems, soft robotics leverages compliant and flexible materials to mimic the inherent adaptability and dexterity of human anatomy. This abstract highlights the significance and potential of human-centered soft robotics, focusing on its impact on biomedical sciences without involving data collection and analysis. By employing soft and flexible structures, human-centered soft robotics addresses critical challenges in healthcare, such as enhancing patient safety, improving rehabilitation therapies, and revolutionizing surgical procedures. Soft robotic devices can conform to the human body, facilitating seamless integration with human tissues and organs, resulting in improved patient comfort and reduced risk of injury during interactions. The compliance and adaptability of soft robotic systems enable the creation of assistive technologies that can assist individuals with disabilities in regaining mobility and enhancing their quality of life. Moreover, soft robotics provides new opportunities in surgical interventions by enabling minimally invasive procedures with enhanced precision 144and control. Soft robotic surgical tools can navigate complex anatomical structures with ease, reducing invasiveness and post-operative complications. The integration of sensing capabilities and advanced control systems further enables the development of intuitive and ergonomic interfaces between surgeons and robotic devices, enhancing surgical outcomes and patient safety. Additionally, human-centered soft robotics contributes to the field of prosthetics and exoskeletons, creating wearable devices that restore or enhance human capabilities.
