摘要

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients suffer from difficulties in grasping objects in daily life. To help them regain impaired functionalities at a certain level, in this article, we present a visual feedback based eye tracking and EEG based human-machine interactive technique, in which the eye tracking system is used for locating user desired objects, and the EEG system is for instructing corresponding operations. A robotic arm is employed here to grasp the targeted objects. Experimental results demonstrate that the developed system can accurately reflect user's intentions in terms of grasping surrounding objects.
