Ethical Leadership and Its Communication Implications

The rapid advancement of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and other systems within organizations can drive significant progress or lead to confusion and resistance if not introduced with effective leadership and communication. Without intentional and mindful strategy, communication, organizations risk negative outcomes beyond reputational and cultural damage. To successfully integrate new technologies and advance organizational strategies, there must be mindful and ethical leadership utilized with effective communication, change management, to maintain a culture of support as emerging technology parallels the introduction of a new team member. Proactive approaches to ethical leadership behaviors are crucial tools in mitigating dissatisfaction, preventing negative work cultures, and addressing incivility in the workplace in the era of new technological advancements.
