摘要

Wetness Perception Sensory feedback is crucial for prosthetic users to experience their surrounding world. In article number 2300512, Maria Ploumitsakoo, Solaiman Shokur and co-workers show an approach to providing hand amputees with a wetness perception. The authors use a wearable thermal device that could be mounted on existing prostheses and that mimics the thermal drop associated with the contact with wet stimuli. The cover image shows the Azzura Robotic Prosthetic Hand sensorized with a thermal sensor to allow users to perceive wetness.
