Economic Analysis of Robots Employment in Building Abraham Warszawski, Yehiel Rosenfeld Pages 177-184 (1997 Proceedings of the 14th ISARC, Pittsburgh, USA, ISSN 2413-5844) Abstract: The paper presents a complete and a simplified model for the economic analysis of robots employment on building sites. Four generic types of building robots are analyzed with the aid of the model and of the available productivity data, which have been published to-date by developers and users of building robots. General conclusions are presented with respect to 'the feasibility of employment of these four types of robots on building sites: (1) exterior finishing robots, (2) horizontal finishing robots, (3) interior finishing robots, and (4) assembling-handling robots.
