摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve surgical services at all stages, preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative.In the pre-operative stage, AI can be used to detect a disease, classify diseases, segment the results of radiological examinations, facilitate the process of registering patient data, provide advice in decision-making, and provide prognosis predictions for the results of surgical procedures to be performed. At the intra-operative stage, AI can be used to generate 3D reconstructions during the surgical process, improve navigation capabilities during endoscopic procedures, provide tissue tracking features, enable the use of augmented reality during surgery, and improve the efficiency of surgical robots in minimally invasive surgeries. In the postoperative stage, the use of AI can mainly be used in the automated processing of electronic health records data.
