摘要

We explored the attitudes of older adults with mobility impairment towards using telepresence robots to understand their openness to adopting these technologies. Participants (n = 14) with self-reported mobility impairments completed questionnaires and an interview following demonstrative videos of two telepresence technologies (Kubi, Beam). In this paper, we present findings regarding participants' perceptions of the mobility functionality of telepresence robots. These results highlight design considerations that may make telepresence technologies more accepted by adults aging with mobility impairments.
