摘要

Ploussard et al report notable improvements in key perioperative outcomes and associated 30‐day hospital costs with enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols and prehabilitation (PreHab) pathways for robot‐assisted radical prostatectomy. To truly tease out the benefit of ERAS and PreHab, it is necessary to adapt and agree upon checklists and guidelines that are consistent across international geographies and different urologic surgeries; this will promote collaboration and large‐scale reporting and lead to meaningful dialogue about important results.
