摘要

This manuscript presents the design and implementation of a voice-controlled robotic vehicle (VCRV) leveraging Smart Control Automation Structure (SCAS) for efficient and accessible navigation. The system enables real-time vehicle control through multiple interaction modes—including voice commands via an Android smartphone, gesture-based control using the gyroscope sensor, and manual input through a custom mobile interface. The core architecture integrates an Arduino UNO microcontroller, HC-05 Bluetooth module, L293D motor driver IC, ultrasonic and PIR sensors, along with a real-time video surveillance module for enhanced situational awareness. The VCRV system was tested in various indoor environments and demonstrated an average response time of 1.2 seconds for voice commands with a 94% command recognition accuracy. The obstacle avoidance module, powered by ultrasonic sensing, achieved a 96% success rate in detecting and responding to barriers within a 20 cm range. Gesture control via the smartphone gyroscope exhibited a 92% accuracy in directional navigation. Additionally, the system’s modular design ensured easy integration of additional features, including a mobile-based live video stream and sensor-driven safety protocols. The results highlight the system's reliability, responsiveness, and adaptability, making it suitable for use in assistive mobility, remote surveillance, and educational robotics. Its low-cost, scalable, and user-friendly design paves the way for further research and enhancements toward autonomous and intelligent robotic platforms.
