摘要

The present study investigates the effect of gender cue alterations of robot to match task attributes on user's acceptance perception. The purpose of this research was to provide guidance to the users to distinguish altering robot's roles and to improve effectiveness in multi task robot interactions. A 2 Task attributes (Social task vs. Functional task) and 3 Robot Gender cue alteration pattern (No gender cue alteration vs. Gender cue alteration from fixed gender vs. Gender cue alteration from non-fixed gender) between-participants experiment was conducted on 40 Korean graduate school students. Gender cue altering robot's impression, task attractiveness, and social attractiveness were evaluated. The results showed that participants found robot's gender cue alteration to be effective and efficient which demonstrate the usefulness of integrating adaptive gender cue interface into multi-task conducting robots.
