摘要

The role of assessment is a critical component of the assistive technology research and development process which serves to link engineers, clinicians, and individuals with disabilities. The author provides a clinical perspective and discusses the process used to evaluate the feasibility and viability of several rehabilitation robotics systems developed at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center/Stanford University.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
