摘要
This paper presents the design and implementation of the unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) for surveillance and bomb diffusion using haptic arm technique. The proposed model consists of a 4 fingered mechanism that is lightweight, portable and user-friendly with reduced complexity. The NEW haptic glove system is a wireless and self-contained system which is mounted on the users arm in order to control the motion of the robot. The New haptic glove system is not limited to the variation in the finger sizes thereby providing accuracy and comfort for the robot control. The system is equipped with bomb detection and diffusion mechanism. Once the presence of bomb/Metal is detected by robot, it initiates commands to the authorized officials and the detected bomb can be diffused from a remote place as if he/she is in direct contact with the bomb. Thus the system provides high security for the life of the bomb diffusion scord. The proposed system is highly useful in the all areas that requires safety and it provides virtual reality in surveillance and diffusion.
