A robot workstation for use in education of the physically handicapped

The possibility of using robotics in physical rehabilitation therapy has attracted much interest in the last few years; however, practical implementations are often restricted by cost and limitations of technology. A workstation that uses a low-cost commercial robot and a vision system is described.
