What is FCC certification and do I need it for my robot?
FCC certification (also called FCC ID, FCC equipment authorization, or Part 15 testing) is required for any device that emits radio-frequency energy (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, even unintentional emissions from CPUs and motors). Almost every modern robot needs it. Without it, you can't legally import or sell in the US.
