Scot Rafkin is a leading figure in planetary atmospheric science, with a career dedicated to understanding and mitigating the risks of Mars exploration. His core research focuses on the Martian planetary boundary layer and the application of high-resolution Large-Eddy Simulations (LES) to model turbulent dynamics.
